Hey bunqers 🌈,

You can always check that your payment was successfully sent from your bunq account by exporting a Single Payment Statement for that transfer.

A statement for a single payment comes as a handy PDF with key details for that specific transaction. This information can help you confirm payment details, share proof of payment, or verify that your transfer was sent.

How do I verify my bank transfer was sent?

Once your transfer is fully processed by us and accepted by the wider European banking system, you can download a Single Payment Statement right from the app. This statement is your proof that the money is officially on its way.

On the statement, you’ll find a Transaction ID (also called an EBA ID), which is a standard reference for payments within the European Economic Area (EEA). Think of this as a unique tracking code for your payment which guarantees that the payment has successfully left bunq and is making its way through the banking system to its destination.

You can share this Transaction ID with the recipient or their bank so they can locate the payment and process it on their end.

Export a single payment statement in the app

  • Go to the Home tab

  • Open the relevant Bank Account

  • Tap the payment

  • Tap Export (you may also see ••• and then Export statement)

  • Tap Save

See the cost of this action for Business Accounts - here.

Note: We can’t export a statement if your account is unverified. Verify your account in a few minutes here

Export a single payment statement on bunq Web

  • Go to https://web.bunq.com

  • Click the relevant Bank Account

  • Select the payment
