Is your card lost or stolen? Breathe in, breathe out - we’ve got you covered! You can easily replace your card and secure your account in one go, straight from your bunq app.

When you replace a lost or stolen card, we block your current card right away and create a replacement — so your money stays safe and you can keep making payments once your new card arrives.

How do I replace my lost or stolen card?

  1. Go to the 💳 Cards tab

  2. Select the card you want to replace

  3. Tap on ⚙️ Settings

  4. Select Replace Card

  5. Choose My card is lost or stolen

  6. Edit card details (if applicable) and select Next

  7. Review the information and select Get Your Card

That’s it. Your old card is blocked immediately, and your new card is on the way.

Good to know: If your previous card was already added to Apple Pay or Google Pay, your card details update automatically. You can learn all about card replacements and fees in How do I replace my card?

What if I spot a payment I don’t recognize?

If you see a payment you don’t recognize, don’t worry — you can request a refund right away. If the refund you’ve requested was refused by the merchant, contact them directly for further assistance.

Keep in mind that if the unrecognized payments for which you want a refund exceed €150.00, you'll need to provide a police report with your request.
