Hey bunqers 🌈,

We have another unique feature for all of the bunq Pro and bunq Elite users out there! This is another world first, a bunq exclusive and we're extremely proud to share it with you.

It's now possible to set up a Secondary Bank Account and Secondary PIN code on your physical cards 🎉

How can I set a Secondary PIN?

  1. Go to your 💳Cards Tab

  2. Select a card

  3. Tap on ⚙️ Settings

  4. Tap on Set up Dual PIN

  5. Enable Dual PIN

  6. Choose a Bank Account your Dual PIN will be linked to

  7. Choose the Secondary PIN

  8. Confirm and set!

How does it work?

This second PIN will be linked to a Secondary Bank Account, meaning that you can use your card's regular PIN to pay for groceries from your household account, and your second PIN to pay for drinks during a night out using your weekend activities account.

Just use the PIN of the account you wish to use and that's the one you'll pay with 👍

Keep in mind that Secondary PIN uses an online PIN as a cardholder verification method. Thus, it won't work with merchants who accept only offline PIN verification methods, as is often the case in France.
