No more wandering eyes. If you’re in a public place where people can see your phone screen or want to show off our beautiful app to friends, being able to hide your balance makes sure you can keep your Bank Account balances private.
How does this look in the bunq app?
See the step-by-step guide on how to hide your Bank Account balances below:
Go to your 🏡 Home tab
Long-press any Bank Account
Tap on View Options
Enable the toggle to Hide Balances 👁
Done!
Even cooler, you can check your Bank Account’s balances when they’re hidden by briefly swiping over them — your balances will be displayed. Once you let go of the screen, they’ll be hidden once more!
Good to know
If the app is deleted and then reinstalled, the accounts’ balances will show again
The hidden balance feature is app based. If you log on a new device, the hidden balance will be turned off.
This feature is available to all of our users: including users on the bunq Free, bunq Core, bunq Pro, and bunq Elite plans.
